What is the meaning of Qigong?

conscious breathing and a pleasant presence in the body.

Qigong is an integral part of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
These millennia-old meditative exercises
are intended to increase life energy (Qi) and
lead to the harmonization of body, mind and soul.

In a state of relaxation and connected to the external Qi sources
the entire body is gently moved and brought into its inner order.
The mind comes to rest.
So one feels more and more the free flow of life energy.

We start exercising and we improve our body functions.

The effects on the spiritual level

In these times of an ever increasing isolation and separation from nature,
Qigong can have a very beneficial effect on the soul.

Practitioners feel part of nature, part of the big picture.
This connection to nature and the knowledge that everything is changing,
can give us strength, trust, security and confidence.
